Our senior living community’s primary outreach is through our East Ridge at Cutler Bay Foundation, where anyone can make a generous charitable donation to show appreciation for what East Ridge has done to provide seniors with dynamic and vibrant lives.
“There’s a long history of philanthropy here at East Ridge, including several gifts of more than one million dollars! Our charitable Foundation exists to help grateful people put passion into action,” said Marco Gonzalez, Director of Sales and Marketing at East Ridge at Cutler Bay.
“Generous benefactors also have a passion to support our associates through funding scholarships, emergency financial assistance, and rewards and recognition events. We’re so grateful to those who have donated throughout the years to help,” he added.
One of the direct impacts of the Foundation is supporting residents at East Ridge, providing security and comfort in knowing that the Foundation and its benefactors are here to help.
How Does the East Ridge at Cutler Bay Foundation Support Florida Seniors?
When you make a donation, there are several options to allocate your funds. One of those options is the Helping Hands Benevolent Care Fund, which provides our residents with financial support to continue living at East Ridge at Cutler Bay.
Marco explains, “Thankful donors love East Ridge and want to give back. Their kindness supports neighbors at East Ridge by providing Helping Hands Benevolent Care to seniors who run out of resources through no fault of their own and can no longer afford their monthly fees.”
With this fund, our residents can have peace of mind that their future in their community is secure. They can focus on all the wonderful aspects of living at East Ridge – including robust programming, delicious dining options, and all the fun social opportunities to talk with other residents and make new friends.
East Ridge Residents Give Back
The giving doesn’t stop there. Residents at East Ridge are involved in giving back to the greater community as well. One of the events our residents look forward to is the Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, which raises both funds and awareness to find a cure and end the disease.
